How often do TSP prices update?
Official TSP share prices are set once per day after the market closes. This tracker uses ETF proxies (SPY, IWM, EFA, AGG) which trade in real time during market hours, giving you a live estimate of TSP fund direction.
Why are these prices different from TSP.gov?
TSP calculates its own share prices daily after close. This page uses the underlying ETF proxies as real-time indicators. The percentage changes shown are directionally accurate but the dollar amounts may differ slightly.
What is YTD return?
YTD (Year-to-Date) return shows how much the fund has gained or lost since January 1st of the current year. It's calculated from the ETF proxy closing prices stored in our database.
Which TSP fund has performed best?
Historically the C Fund has delivered the highest long-term returns, followed by the S Fund. Short-term performance varies significantly. Apex Equity's TSP strategies use backtested seasonal patterns to guide allocation decisions.
